Orthodontic consultation

Orthodontic consultation is payable according to the Office’s price list.

• Panoramic X-ray – it can be performed in the Adentis office if the patient does not have such a X-ray.
• Cephalometric X-ray – it can be performed in the Adentis office if the patient does not have such an X-ray.
• photos are taken with a digital camera during the visit
• Additionally, diagnostic models can be made.

The consultation includes:

• dental interview
• physical and subjective examination
• panoramic x-ray assessment
• oral examination,
• examination of the abductor and adductor muscles of the jaw,
• assessment of short-circuit conditions,
• assessment of the position of the mandible to the maxilla,
• examination of the jaw abduction track.

All the above-mentioned tests are necessaryto prepare an orthodontic treatment plan

 

We pay special attention to the proper function of the entire cranial system.

Such documentation is standard for the treatment that will follow. The patient is treated as a whole. We do not treat only one tooth, we do not replace old prosthetic restorations with new ones without thorough diagnostics, we do not undertake orthodontic treatment without comprehensive preparation of the patient.

The treatment cannot be worse than the disease

Orthodontics – we do not only deal with aligning teeth, that is, straightening them – we only undertake full orthodontic treatment.

 

After diagnosing dysfunctions within the stomatognathic system, the patient is referred to physiotherapy by Maciej Iwanowski, MA in rehabilitation.

At Adentis, the patient is treated as a whole, we do not treat just one patient

Health cannot be divided into sections

A visit to a physiotherapist includes: assessment of the range of movements of the lower jaw, tension of the muscles controlling the functioning of the lower jaw, possible pain points, position of the head of the lower jaw within the joints with assessment of the dislocation of the articular disc in the occlusal position and during movement, functional and resting position of the lower jaw in the jaw, assessment of the position of the head in relation to shoulder girdle, with particular emphasis on the top segments and the cervical-thoracic transition, assessment of pelvic balance (stable, twisted pelvis), assessment of foot positioning, assessment of joint stability and spine curvatures.
