Orthodontic micro implants

Dental implants and orthodontic micro implants (also known as mini screws or mini implants) are one of the most valuable developments in dentistry over the last ten years.

Micro orthodontic implants are used for temporary anchorage, i.e. support during orthodontic treatment. It is a screw with a head protruding above the mucosa. After fulfilling their function, they are removed. Micro implants enable 100% anchorage, which was previously unattainable. To sum up, we have obtained a new, extremely useful tool that allows us to increase the effectiveness and precision of treatment.

The procedure of installing micro implants is relatively non-invasive and painless, and after the treatment, removing the mini screw is not problematic.
